2. How many instructions could the above machine execute in one minute?
3. Let’s suppose we have a 40-year-old computer that has an instruction execution rate of one thousand instructions per second. How long would it take in days, hours, and minutes to execute the same number of instructions you derived for the 500 MHz machine?
1. Il periodo di clock mi è dato da 1/f con f=500*10^6 Giusto??
Per ottenere instruction rate(tasso di istruzioni) dovrò dividere una cosa per qualcos'altro? Ma cosa?
2. In un secondo farò tot instruzioni, in un minuto ci sono 60 secondi. mi aiutate anche qui??
